Reward Analyst - 12 month FTC Home based to start offices are based London E1W An amazing opportunity to join an organisation that is shaping the infrastructure within the UK economy. You will need to spot trends, convert data analytics and interpret that to the business with a research oriented approach within Reward/ Compensation and Benefits arena. Summary of Role Reward Supports company Reward strategy delivery, including the development and deployment of policy, and advise on application for consistency. Key participant in the year-end salary review activities, ensuring alignment to strategy and that due process is followed. Supports cyclical Reward review, pay benchmarking and analysis. Participates in, and suggests improvements to, the processes and plans required to smoothly operate the reward and benefits framework. Utilise an up-to-date knowledge of the key relevant legislation and corporate governance relating to reward and performance issues. Coordinates monthly payroll activities, adhering to and suggesting improvement to controls and governance to deliver a best-in-class service to colleagues. Ensures the timely and accurate update of colleague benefit selections into the HRIS, to inform payroll activities. Ensures the timely and accurate update of colleague population and details to benefits brokers, to ensure the timely capture of joiners, movers and leavers and other changes affecting benefits eligibility. Prepare and validate data for gender pay gap and other regulatory reporting requirements in line with submission deadlines to ensure compliance. Works in partnership with colleagues from the Reward and Systems function, and the other People Team centres of excellence, to deliver appropriate solutions to the business. Systems The Reward Analyst utilises the HR Information Systems (HRIS) to populate, analyse and manage reports. Accountabilities Principal Accountabilities Focuses on enabling the delivery of People processes and services through the HRIS, Cezanne within the business. Works closely with the Head of Reward and Systems and Director of HR to deliver the company annual pay review and bonus cycles, ensuring suitable salary benchmarking and job levelling methods are applied. Collate and validate salary and bonus data as at the snapshot date to allow for the preparation of the annual pay gap reporting. Services other regulatory reporting requirements in line with submission deadlines Reward and Systems representative and Job Evaluation Panel member; undertakes evaluation of company positions and updates job evaluation documentation and database. Supports the annual budgeting, new hires and promotions processes by providing accurate market data, job and peer analysis to ensure consistency in salary determinations. Benchmarking benefits market data to identify and support improvements to the companies benefit offerings. Supports the delivery of key reward and performance initiatives and projects aligned to the company Reward strategy, values and objectives. This includes Executive reward and Remuneration Committee-related activity. Enables the implementation and embedding of the company benefits platform to ensure the smooth delivery and continuous provision of valued and cost-effective benefits within the company. Consistent delivery of timely and high-quality input and insight, that enables the Reward and Systems function to execute key reward and performance interventions, defined by initiatives or project deliverables and measures. Coordinates monthly payroll activities to maintain company payroll accuracy rates of at least 98% each month. This includes ensuring pre-payroll updates are confirmed in the HRIS, the timely request for, and transmission of payroll files, and ensuring the inclusion of in-scope payroll items for which instructions and necessary approvals are received before the monthly deadline. Ensures up to date version-controlled documentation on system configuration and user guides. Provides general systems administrative support to the People team. Ensures data quality and system content standards to enable effective business analytics and reporting. Knowledge and Experience Skilled in people analytics and reporting Experienced in working with various reporting tools and providing People analytics and KPIs to People Partners Reward or Compensation and Benefits experience, preferably within Financial Services and/or professional services Experienced in preparing presentation materials Specific Skills Strong Excel, HR system and analytical skills Excellent stakeholder management skills Ability to produce management information reporting using a range of complex data tools Ability to analyse, challenge and draw conclusions from remuneration data to provide broader People Team and business insight, support strategic and business needs. Strong technical knowledge of pay, benefits and compensation issues. Knowledge and understanding of Diversity and Inclusion and relevance and importance in the development and application of HR policies, processes and systems. Qualifications and Training Educated to a degree level or equivalent work experience in workforce analytics, workforce planning, HR systems role, CIPD preferred.
