Senior Internal Communications Manager UKI

We are looking for an enthusiastic and seasoned employee communications manager who possesses exceptional writing skills, and understands the complexity of communication in a large multinational organisation.

Are you a creative internal communicator with a knack for building great relationships with leaders and partners? Do you enjoy turning the mundane into magic and know just the right way to engage and inspire teams? Do you love fun? If you answered yes to all of these questions, you might be what we’re looking for in our next Internal Communications Senior Manager, UKI.

This role, a 6-month parental leave cover, is a golden ticket to joining our dynamic Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) Employee Communications team which seeks to set the new standard in employee communications across 19 countries.

We're seeking a seasoned Internal Communications expert to lead the charge on UKI employee communications over the next 6 months. This role will craft and deliver an internal communications plan for our UKI business, connect employees and senior leaders, keep everyone in the loop about news and programs, facilitate dialogue and listening with employees, and inspire action. The role will also be a key part of our pan-EMEA employee comms program, including a focus on supporting our Distribution (Sales) organisation across the region, as well as regularly contributing to other EMEA projects as the team's plans evolve into the next fiscal year.

We're seeking that special blend of strategic thinker and creative doer who thrives when collaborating with diverse teams in a fast-paced and complex environment. You'll need to be a skilled wordsmith, an ace at stakeholder management, a superstar teammate, and a solution-oriented innovator. Being comfortable having multiple projects on the go, navigating the complexities of a global organisation, an eagerness to learn, and being at your best in a fast-paced culture will all help you succeed in this role.

In return, you'll join a strong, international team dedicated to driving communications that connect, engage, and empower our employees. We foster a vibrant and inclusive workplace culture in an organisation that's consistently recognised as one of the best places to work in the UK and around the world.

Responsibilities:

* Lead a world-class programme of employee communications for one of our most important global markets which includes the development and execution of a comprehensive internal communication strategy that aligns with the UKI business objectives, and global and EMEA communication standards.

* Provide tailored support for key Salesforce UKI leaders and other UK stakeholders, on planning and executing internal comms activities.

* Act as a trusted advisor to the UKI CEO and her leadership team, providing strategic guidance on internal communication initiatives.

* Write/create memorable, engaging communications that drive awareness of key initiatives and inspire employees to take action across channels — including but not limited to Slack, email, digital screens, All Hands/Town Halls, employee events, and video.

* Curate and develop bespoke internal content to profile the best of what's happening in our region.

* Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of internal communication efforts, gather feedback, and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.

* Support the communication aspects of change and business transformation initiatives, ensuring employees are well-informed and prepared for changes within the organisation.

* Support wider EMEA and Global Employee Comms initiatives, campaigns, and activities as required.

Experience/skills required:

* 10+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related discipline — experience in a high-tech or other fast-paced, disruptive environment a plus.

* A brilliant communicator and highly creative writer experienced in crafting compelling messaging and narratives. Can generate and execute "breakout" ideas.

* Proven track record developing and executing creative internal communications plans.

* Ability to quickly grasp information across a variety of disciplines, industries, and products, and create clear communications.

* Ability to lead, manage, and execute multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented and nimble environment.

* A strategic thinker with proven ability to work cross-functionally, exerting influence without direct authority.

* Dynamic, charismatic, confident personality with ability to successfully drive projects with minimal guidance.

* Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and re-prioritise on the fly.

* High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

* Proactive and results-oriented.

* Team player with a positive attitude, and not opposed to a healthy dose of fun!
