EMEA Product Marketer – Platform as a service


We’re looking for a Product Marketer with a passion for application development, data security and cloud platform technology, who has a strong aptitude for accelerating the growth of the IT leader community as well as the Platform business. In this role, you will build and leverage a deep understanding of Platform products and customers to create narratives, content, and education to help both internal sales teams and external IT decision makers learn, use, and understand why the Platform is unique and valuable.

 

This role is a 1 year contract, hybrid working.

Successful candidates will have a passion for taking the complex and making it simple and for marketing through compelling stories. They will relish constant innovation and the opportunity to evangelise the Platform value proposition to internal and external audiences.

Responsibilities:

- Be the champion and product marketing engine behind the Platform across key EMEA markets, focusing on priority countries and industries to drive pipeline generation and growth
- Align with Global and EMEA Sales, Sales Enablement, Global Product Marketing and Regional Marketing to develop regional sales enablement plans, adapt or create region-specific sales content and tools, and drive sales adoption of our solutions in the region
- Further market position as an innovator and thought leader in the eyes of the IT buyer community by evangelising externally and 3rd Party Industry events
- Support acceleration and closing of deals through product presentations, enablement and demonstrations to internal sales teams and customers (via industry events, webinars, trade shows, road shows, customer briefings)
- Provide market and buyer insights to drive the development of campaign strategies including demand generation and reputation building
- Collaborate with marketing peers and resources to localise relevant content and messaging for target buyers, including web content, webinars, data sheets, solution guides, demo videos and more, for all stages of the buyer life cycle
- Partner with Sales & Customer Marketing to develop regional customer references, deal wins, testimonials and case studies for external and internal use
- Drive up-sell/cross-sell strategies in partnership with sales, sales programs and marketing to exceed attainment goals
- Coordinate the launch process when product launch tactics are specific to the region or country
- Monitor and report on the performance of products in the market and communicate the results of related sales and marketing efforts


Experience/Skills Required:

- 5+ years experience in a product marketing, solution marketing or equivalent role, ideally in enterprise software or SaaS/PaaS
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and across multiple regions
- Self-starter with experience in driving go-to-market plans and working across complex matrix organisations
- Experience of running/managing comprehensive sales enablement programs desirable
- Ability to navigate senior stakeholders across multiple functions & geographies to establish buy-in for go-to-market priorities
- Understanding of the IT buyer (eg IT Leader, CISO) as a target market and ability to engage with and influence this audience
- Experience in creating and delivering value proposition and content strategies to support demand generation across the buyer funnel
- Strong interpersonal skills – a blend of firmness and conviction with diplomacy and a constructive attitude
- A bias for action and a comfort with numbers, ability to translate data into actionable recommendations
- Strong communicator and storyteller comfortable with presenting in public
