Overview:

Alongside fellow Communications Officer and Junior Communications Officer, the successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day running and logistics of internal communications for the business, including company-wide blogs, managing the communications platform and other internal channels and events.

Opportunity to have end-to-end responsibility and ownership of ongoing and discreet communications projects, and support company-wide communications projects, as well as working with the Internal Communications Manager and Head of Communications.

Support and advise other teams across on communications and engagement activity.

This role is an opportunity for someone to increase and hone their professional communications skills and gain a broader understanding and experience of working in a busy team. Chance to get involved with the work of other communications disciplines.

Accountabilities:

Day-to-day running and logistics of internal communications

Management of company-wide connections blogs (including timetabling), Getting to know company educational sessions and general management and updating of the company communications platform, the Exchange

Planning and logistics for internal events

Content generation for all channels

Content generation and drafting of company-wide messages

General management of our bi-weekly all-colleague calls, from content management to drafting the C-suite briefing for circulation

Ad-hoc support for internal campaigns e.g. asset design and production

Advising colleagues on house style and branding - being advocates of the brand and the Communications department

Business partnering with multiple areas across the organisation and being their communications touchpoint for sharing information with colleagues

Daily management of the AskComms mailbox

Supporting the Junior Communications Officer

Supporting wider communications team with ad hoc requests and projects

Qualifications & Experience:

Experience working in a professional setting, ideally with experience of a fast-paced, demanding organisation.

A working knowledge of Microsoft Office and excellent written communication skills (grammar and storytelling) also important.

Experience in financial services, media communication or similar is desired but not required.

Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential
